Purim is around the corner

I’ve started to work on my Purim theme. Normally I base the whole holiday on my kids costumes. My daughter loves the book Pinkalicous. We just went to see the play. I’ve been on the quest for the perfect costume. I found the site fairywonderful.com. I emailed them my goals and they created a GREAT costume. Next week inspiration board for my purim baskets!

Spring is here it’s time to use some color. Do small custom events to get to know your clients again.

Ten ways to make a great event:

1. Design low flower arrangements that pop with color

2. Serve family style food so people have to pass and share food around the table

3. Know your clients and create an atmosphere they would like

4. Have a chef come and cook fresh, light, and tasty food

5. Invite 10-15 people to keep it intimate so you can talk to everyone

6. Think of a new and exciting place to have the event instead of a restaurant

7. Always have seating arrangements

8. Customize napkin rings

9. Make the “sales pitch” short and strong.

When Calculating Twitter’s ROI, Don’t Forget Its Change on Organizations by Pete Blackshaw had numerous interesting points today. He discussed that twitter, facebook, and blogs changes the way the marketing community has to function. What I found very interesting is that Twitter and all these online sites have become media companies research community. They get ideas faster, information about there target audience for free, and can build blogs for almost no cost. Social- media has changed the business and research process. Lets figure out “how to listen” to all this information we’re getting.
